When rubbish dumps can be turned into open air kitchen

The video above video was taken at 6.05 a.m. this Sunday morning  (27 April 2014) when yarl restaurant's selfish and irresponsible boss turned on his loud and thunderous kitchen hood. You can also view this video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vQwB1lG7HsU&feature=youtu.be

The 2 photos above were taken today (27 April 2014) at around 8 a.m. (This article was posted at 6.23 a.m. today and was edited to add these 2 photos).

This morning, yarl restaurant turned on its loud and deafening  kitchen hood at 6.05 a.m. In fact, I should be sleeping now and not writing this article but since Yarl restaurant has already waken me up with its loud and thunderous kitchen hood noise and I can't sleep anymore, I might as well write this article. At this hour (particularly on a Sunday morning) when everywhere is so quiet that you can even hear the sound of a pin dropping, yarl restaurant's  loud and deafening kitchen hood noise is indeed a nightmare for everyone in the neighbourhood. Anyone in their right senses would not want to talk loudly or even turn on the music  at this hour of the day because we know that it is just not right to make noise at such an early hour in the morning. As for yarl restaurant's selfish, irresponsible, and brainless boss who only thinks of his business, chasing everyone out of their bedrooms at such an early hour in the morning is nothing new to him. Whenever anyone complains, he would turn on his noisy kitchen hood a little bit later i.e. at 6.45 a.m. After a few days, he would revert back to his old habit - turning on his loud and deafening kitchen hood earlier and earlier with each passing day from 6.45 a.m. → 6.35 a.m. →6.30 a.m. →6.20 →6.10 a.m. →6.05 a.m.→ 5.45 a.m. and even at  5.20 a.m.  It is indeed a shameful thing to say that yarl restaurant's boss is doing this kind of selfish thing with his eyes wide open despite all the complaints against him and ignoring all the sufferings that he is causing to others and even more shameful to say that this kind of thing is allowed to happen in a civilized country like Malaysia! You can click THE GREAT COVER UP: MALAYSIAN STYLE to read about how the Kuala Lumpur City Hall is covering up for yarl restaurant. Below are some photos of yarl restaurant that I would like to share with my readers. This is what you see behind yarl restaurant. In fact, the situation has been like this since I was a kid i.e. for more than 30 years. That's why this place is known as rubbish lane.

The above photo  was taken on 20 April 2014. Here you can see yarl restaurant's noisy kitchen hood with the telephone number, 0162314798, on it. On the left side of the kitchen hood, you can see a heap of rubbish. On the right side of the kitchen hood (see the photo below) is the open air kitchen where yarl restaurant's workers prepare their food. The flat dwellers like to dump rubbish from their windows which falls directly onto yarl restaurant's open air kitchen. In other words, yarl restaurant's open air kitchen is also a rubbish dump! The containers for putting food for their catering business are also dumped outside for washing.

The photo above was taken on 20 April 2014 - it was a Sunday - a very busy day indeed for yarl restaurant as there was so much food to prepare that day in the open air kitchen next to the noisy kitchen hood which is very near  to the rubbish dump! If what you can see outside the kitchen can be so filthy, can you imagine what is going on inside the kitchen where you cannot see?

The above photo is taken from the Facebook "Sampah Tidak Dikutip". If you read carefully what is written on this Facebook, you would realize that this heap of rubbish was just opposite yarl restaurant. Although this heap of rubbish is already cleared now, the flat dwellers still dump rubbish there from time to time since this is the flat's rubbish dump. What is really ridiculous is yarl restaurant also uses this rubbish dump as their second open air kitchen when they have a lot of food to prepare. Why does yarl restaurant need so many open air kitchens? Is it because their kitchen is so small that they have to make use of the rubbish dumps around as their kitchen?

In front of the white car you can see the little "Toyota" used for lifting things parked outside yarl restaurant's kitchen. Behind the white car, you can see lots of rubbish.

In fact, there is rubbish everywhere on this lane. If you click to enlarge this photo, you can see rubbish inside the drain outside yarl restaurant's kitchen. The biggest rubbish bins can also be found on this lane. That's why there are so many big, black, fat rats scurrying all over the place!
Yarl restaurant's noisy kitchen hood with two rubbish packets in front of it. Here, the flat dwellers like to dump rubbish. The rubbish always falls onto yarl restaurant's open air kitchen. On the left are two rubbish dumps as you can see below.

The rubbish dumps next to yarl restaurant's loud and deafening kitchen hood.

IT SEEMS THAT MALAYSIANS JUST DON'T CARE HOW AND WHERE THEIR FOOD IS COOKED. THIS IS OUR MALAYSIAN CULTURE. THEY JUST SIMPLY EAT WHAT THEY CAN GET HOLD OF INCLUDING FOOD PREPARED IN THE OPEN AIR KITCHENS AT THE RUBBISH DUMPS ON RUBBISH LANE.

Do Malaysians really care about dirty restaurants or are they more interested in the taste of the food? We complain about dirty restaurants but some of us continue to patronise these places. Perhaps, Malaysians don’t care about hygiene as long as they can eat the food they are used to. If you sit beside the smelly monsoon drain, which is blocked with rubbish, you don’t think about the drain and your proximity to it. You just want to be served quickly and savour the food. The dirty rag which the waiter used to wipe a mess on the floor is then used to clean the table, and you think nothing of resting your hands and cutlery on the table. Very few of us request fresh cutlery, if the ones we were given are encrusted with bits of hardened food. Others who find lipstick stains on the rim of the glass simply turn it around 180 degrees. Diners who see a fly hovering over food, may find on closer scrutiny, that the fly has laid eggs – tiny clusters of pearly white lozenges, almost invisible to the naked eye. Have you ever wondered how many times the garnish adorning a dish has been used? You might wonder if the bread has been on parade in the bread basket.

I have seen my friends removing the ants from their plates of rice and then continuing eating. The question is: Can we go on eating when we know that there are ants in our food? Well, the answer is: Dirty foods are okay for Malaysians. I have seen (last Friday) restaurant workers picking up the pieces of fried chicken that they have dropped accidentally at the food counter and putting them back onto the tray. Did anyone mind? Everyone was waiting impatiently to be served that they didn't mind at all. I was the only one who walked out of the restaurant that day. Some time back, I saw a worker in a restaurant in Brickfields picking up the chicken leg that has fallen onto the floor and putting it back onto the tray when he thought that no one was looking at him.  I have seen rats scurrying around in a restaurant, but the patrons merely laughed at the “playful” rats, and carried on eating. Produce, like vegetables, is stored on the wet floor, next to the toilets but you shrug your shoulders and wait patiently for your meal. We have seen some hawker stalls in which dishwashing involves dunking dishes into a bowl of murky water, before being stacked up for re-use. If the parts of a restaurant that you can see are dirty, what about the bits you cannot see? As a rough guide to the standards of hygiene, try and check the toilets. If the customer toilets are dirty, just imagine what the kitchens are like, where only members of staff are allowed. Just go to the back of the restaurant and you will see things that you hope you wouldn't see!

Dirty toilets and kitchens, rubbish and unwashed utensils piled up in back lanes, and giant rats and roaches scurrying across the floor and nearby drains are common sights in food courts, hawker stalls and restaurants in and around the Klang Valley. Despite such a revolting environment, people don't seem to mind patronising these places. They may be disgusted by such sights, but the attitude seems to be to simply ignore the surroundings and "enjoy" the food, opening themselves to infection and disease.

What does the rubbish contain?

Enterobacteriacea: Can cause stomach upsets.
E.coli: Some strains cause illness.

Yeasts: Can be harmful and also causes food to rot.
Pseudomonas aerugino: Causes food to spoil.

Moulds: Speeds up food rot and odour.

Bacillus cereus: Can cause vomiting

Staphylococcus aureus: Known to cause stomach upsets.
Clostridium Perfringens: Causes similar sickness to salmonella, though not fatal.

The suffferings of yarl restaurant's noise pollution victims

This video of yarl restaurant is taken at 6.05 a.m. this Sunday morning. You can also view it at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KMjuOh4dR_4&feature=youtu.be

The 2 photos above were taken before 8 a.m. on the same day (20 April 2014) in which the video was taken. If what you can see outside the kitchen can be so filthy, can you imagine what is going on inside the kitchen where you can't see? (This article was posted at 6.25 a.m. and was edited to add these 2 photos).

Last night, yarl restaurant only turned off the noisy hood at 11.00 p.m. However, at 6.05 a.m. this morning, yarl restaurant's loud and thunderous kitchen hood noise can be heard like thunder outside our windows usual. In other countries, restaurants are not allowed to make noise before 7 a.m. and even after 7 a.m., they cannot emit noise which is above 60dBA. But in Malaysia, you can be tortured with noise as loud as a diesel truck outside your window at 5 in the morning and you have no right to say or do anything about it! (I would like to make it known to the world that if anything were to happen to me, it will have something to do with yarl restaurant. Look at the guy in this video. He is staring at me. Please click to read yarl restaurant's criminal threatening).

On a Sunday morning, I should be sleeping until 8 a.m. especially when I am not working but this is no longer possible because of yarl restaurant's kitchen hood noise. Since I am forced to wake up sleepy and tired by yarl restaurant's kitchen hood noise to endure another day of sleep deprivation, I have no choice but to make my plight known to the whole world again. I am writing not because I want to but because I have to because we are suffering intensely because of the kitchen hood noise. I am writing because I am calling out for help in the hope that yarl restaurant's noise pollution problem can be solved. We are only asking yarl restaurant to turn on the kitchen after 7 a.m. Is that too much? This is because we can't stay in our bedroom when the noisy kitchen hood is turned on.No matter what time we sleep the night before, we have to wake up when yarl restaurant starts making loud and deafening noise with its kitchen hood early in the morning. For a long time we have not been having enough sleep. For a long time we do not know what having enough sleep means. We only know that when yarl restaurant's selfish and irresponsible boss turns on his loud and deafening kitchen hood in the wee hours of the morning, we have to leave our bedrooms immediately. I go to work sleepy and tired every day of my life. There is only one thing in our lives i.e noise

Do you know how much pain we have to endure as noise pollution victims?  Forcing our sleepy eyes to remain open and concentrate on what we are doing is really an uphill task. Sleepiness due to lack of sleep makes us unable to think properly and there are times when we don't know what we are doing. Sleep deprivation can even cause accidents. This is worse than physical torture in the fires of hell. We normally sleep 8-9 hours a day but now we have to do with 7 hours or even less. Does anyone have the right to stop someone from getting enough sleep? In Malaysia, anyone can have such a right. You can just rent a shoplot in any place, turn on your kitchen hood which is as loud as a diesel truck outside somebody's window at 5 - 6 a.m.in the morning to chase everyone out of their bedrooms and no one can stop you. Is this what is meant by "Malaysia Boleh" i.e. you can do anything in Malaysia?

Having to live up to yarl restaurant's noise pollution expectations is also an uphill task. We can no longer do many of the things that we used to so such as going out with friends at night, watching our favourite programs at night, calling friends at night, or even doing shopping at night. There is only one thing in mind, i.e. we must get up early because yarl restaurant's kitchen hood noise will chase me out of my bedroom at around 6 in the morning or even earlier than that. As we look back, we really yearn for the freedom that we have lost and will never have as long as yarl restaurant's kitchen hood is making loud and deafening noise outside my window.

Everyone takes freedom for granted but for the victims of yarl restaurant's noise pollution program, freedom is only an illusion. If yarl restaurant says, "Don't attend your company's annual dinner or watch football at night because you must wake up early next morning as my kitchen hood noise is going to chase you out of your bedroom at 5 - 6 a.m.", we have no choice but to obey. If yarl restaurant says, "You cannot visit your sick relatives or go out with friends at night because I will make a lot of noise to wake you up in the morning before you can sleep well" we have to obey. In this era, even children wouldn't listen if you ask them not to watch football or go out at night. But what about me, as an adult, who have to live up to yarl restaurant's noise pollution expectations? Do you know how stressful it is to be a noise pollution victim? It is worse than cancer. Even refugees are given the right to an adequate standard of living but as a citizen of Malaysia, we have no such right! The failure of the Kuala Lumpur City Hall to do anything about yarl restaurant's noise pollution program clearly indicates that evil triumphs over justice in Malaysia.

In a way, yarl restaurant's air and noise pollution program also makes me fear for the Goods and Services Tax (GST) to be implemented in 2015. This is because we cannot stay in our bedrooms without turning on some kind of sound to cover up yarl restaurant's kitchen hood noise. This would mean that we have to pay extra for the electricity bill because of the noise. With the GST, we are going to suffer great financial woes because of yarl restaurant's endless and thunderous noise.

According to the United Nations on Human Rights, the right to an adequate standard of living requires, at a minimum, that everyone shall enjoy the necessary subsistence rights: adequate food and nutrition, clothing, housing and the necessary conditions of care when required. The essential point is that everyone shall be able, without shame and without unreasonable obstacles, to be a full participant in ordinary, everyday interaction with other people. Thus, people should be able to enjoy their basic needs in conditions of dignity. No one should have to live in conditions whereby the only way to satisfy their needs is by degrading themselves or depriving themselves of their basic freedoms, such as through begging, prostitution or forced labour. But what us, citizens of Malaysia, who don't even have the right to sleep 8 hours a day and have to endure loud and thunderous noise all the time?

As citizens of Malaysia, we have to live in shame and with unreasonable obstacles in the form of yarl restaurant's kitchen hood noise. We cannot be a full participant in ordinary, everyday interaction with other people. We can no longer go out with friends after work or attend wedding dinners as we have to rush home to sleep because yarl restaurant's kitchen hood noise will chase us out of my bedroom at 6 (or even earlier than that) in the morning. We cannot enjoy my basic needs in conditions of dignity. In actual fact, we have no dignity now. We are only slaves to yarl restaurant's noise pollution program. We am living in conditions whereby yarl restaurant' is depriving us of our basic freedoms, such as chasing us out of my bedroom with its kitchen hood noise early in the morning at 5- 6 a.m., depriving us of sleep, preventing us from going out with friends, attending dinners, shopping, and watching football at night. These are the things that many people take for granted but do you know how hard we are fighting for these basic rights?

YARL RESTAURANT CHASED US OUT OF OUR BEDROOMS AT 5.40 a.m. IN THE MORNING

This video is taken at 5.40 a.m. this morning when yarl restaurant turned on its loud and thunderous kitchen hood to chase us out of our bedrooms. (Just click on the video to see how loud and thunderous the kitchen hood noise is). This is the kind of noise that we, as citizens of Malaysia, have to endure without the right to say or do anything about it. Why is it so? This is because even the Kuala Lumpur City is telling stupid lies to cover up for yarl restaurant's air and noise pollution program. Is this an obvious case of bribery in Malaysia? Nothing surprising though since Malaysia is known as  one of the most corrupt nations.

With the loud and thunderous noise coming from the kitchen hood which is just outside our bedrooms, it is not possible for us to sleep anymore. Even if we press two big pillows onto our ears, this loud and thunderous noise can still be heard clearly and loudly. Once we leave our bedrooms, we normally don't enter our bedrooms again for the whole day/night until the kitchen hood is turned off. I am actually not feeling well today but I can't sleep anymore and have to leave my bedroom at 5.40 a.m. in the morning even though I slept at 1.00 a.m. because I worked late last night. If you click on this video, you can see how serious this noise pollution is especially at 5.40 a.m. in the morning. But according to the Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL), this loud and thunderous noise from the kitchen hood in the early hours of the mornings is not noise pollution and Malaysians can make a much noise as they want as long as the source of noise is inside their house. You can also view this video @ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fLRrFh_dQt0&feature=youtu.be

Every morning, when yarl restaurant's selfish and irresponsible boss turned on his noisy kitchen hood, it is as though he is saying:
Hey, you fools, GET UP, GET UP, GET UP. I want to make big bucks today. I want to turn on my loud and thunderous kitchen hood now because it cannot function properly without making loud and deafening noise so please leave your bedrooms immediately. I will only lower the volume of my kitchen hood whenever anyone comes to check on my restaurant. When no one is there to check on me, I will turn on my kitchen hood to its maximum capacity. I don't care how my kitchen hood noise is affecting you. I only want to do business and make lots of money. If you can't stand my kitchen hood noise, you can shift elsewhere. If you want to stay here, you must bear all the sufferings that my noise pollution program is causing you with fortitude. In this lawless cowboy town, I am the law and I can do what I want. Even the Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) is trying to cover up for me. These DBKL fellas even tell stupid lies for me. That is why I am so daring. Anyway, these DBKL fellas are really stupid. If they ever come to check on my restaurant, I'll just show them the speaker and tell them that the speaker is the kitchen hood and they will believe me. No one can do anything to me. I am in control here because I own a restaurant. My skin is very thick and I don't know how to feel ashamed of myself. I know very well that my kitchen hood is making a lot of noise but I don't care. I am also a liar. Sometime in August 2013, I lied to Fong Kui Lun's (MP of this area) assistant that I would reduce the noise in the neighbourhood without any intention to do so. Since he came to see me to ask me to reduce the noise after complaints from the neighbours, I might as well lie to him because I know that he cannot do anything to me. I am not going to spend a single sen to solve the noise problem. Let the neighbours suffer as long as I can make money. It is really amusing to make everyone in the neighbourhood suffer for the sake of my business. The entire neighbourhood is very quiet at this hour of the day, so quiet that you can even hear a pin drop, and the only noise you can hear is my kitchen hood noise. Each morning, when I turn on my noisy kitchen hood, everyone has to flee from their bedrooms. At night, long after bedtime hour, I can still make loud and deafening noise so that my victims cannot sleep. How funny! Sleep deprivation is a beautiful thing! See how my victims suffer? This clearly shows how grand I am! The Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) has given me the authority to do so through their inaction. These DBKL fellows dare not do anything to me. I can make others suffer under my noise pollution program and they cannot do anything to me. No one can do anything to me. Can we torture others for the sake of our business? Well, Malaysia Boleh and that is why I am doing it! MONEY FOR ME, NOISE FOR YOU-this is the motto of my life. Ha! Ha! Ha!

Why does yarl restaurant's boss dare to do whatever he wishes at the expense of others? This is because it is an obvious fact that the Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) trying to cover up for yarl restaurant. Evidence 1: Even a little child knows what yarl restaurant's kitchen hood looks like after seeing the pictures in my blog but the DBKL officers still cannot differentiate between a speaker and a kitchen hood (after reading my email with a link to my blog). Assuming that the kitchen hood was the speaker, their verdict was - no noise pollution. Evidence 2: Next, they came out with the verdict that as long as the source of noise is in your house, there is no noise pollution. Evidence 3: Upon repeated complaints, the DBKL officers finally went to inspect the restaurant but they chose the day when it was closed (I suppose a DBKL insider must have known that yarl restaurant was closed that day). According to the Kuala Lumpur City Hall, since the restaurant was closed that day, there was no noise pollution. Yarl restaurant is opened every day so why chose the day when it was closed? So this is the way Malaysians cover up things i.e. by telling lies with their eyes wide opened.

Did the Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) and the Department of Environment (DOE) really give yarl restaurant the authority to turn on its loud and deafening kitchen hood at such in the wee hours of the morning? Is yarl restaurant allowed to make this kind of loud and deafening motor noise in the wee hours of the morning when many people are still sleeping? At this hour in the morning, everywhere is so quiet that you can even hear the sound of a pin dropping. Anyone in their right senses would not want to talk loudly or even turn on the music loudly at this hour of the day because we know that it is just not right to make noise at such an early hour in the morning. Chasing everyone out of their bedrooms at such an early hour in the morning is nothing new to yarl restaurant. As yarl restaurant's air and noise pollution victims, we have been suffering continuously and intensely from his noise pollution program since January last year without the right to say or do anything about it. What is even worse is that this noisy kitchen hood may even start making thunderous noise as early as 5.20 a.m. in the morning chasing everyone out of their bedrooms when they are still in their deep sleep! In other countries, restaurants are not allowed to make noise before 7 a.m. and even after 7 a.m., they cannot emit noise which is above 60dBA. But in Malaysia, you can be tortured with noise as loud as thunder outside your window at 5 - 7 a.m. in the morning and you have no right to say or do anything about it! The question I am discussing here is: Why the Kuala Lumpur City Hall is trying to cover up for yarl restaurant's air and noise pollution program?

Why is the Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) trying to cover up for yarl restaurant in such a fishy way? Why is it that the DBKL cannot take action against yarl restaurant? Is something fishy going on? Here, I would like to share with you some of the greatest lies of the century entitled "THE STUPID LIES KUALA LUMPUR CITY HALL TOLD". One day, after repeated complaints from the residents, the DBKL officers finally went to check on yarl restaurant. However, instead of looking for the real kitchen hood, they simply assumed that the kitchen hood was the speaker inside the restaurant. So, instead of dealing with the kitchen hood, they went on to deal with the speaker and said that there was no noise pollution. Is this stupidity on their part or just a mistake?  Please read the email from DBKL below:

In this email, I was told that the speaker was only temporary since according to yarl restaurant's boss, it was intended to attract customers during Deepavali. Sounds ridiculous, isn't it? We are complaining about the kitchen hood but they are dealing with the speaker.  There is no reason why this mistake could be made when the photo of the kitchen hood is so clear in my blog article (I have provided a link to my latest article in this blog in my email to DBKL). The question is why on earth did these DBKL fellows focus on the speaker and did not try to look for the kitchen hood at all? Don't tell me that they don't know that the kitchen hood is at the back of the restaurant when there is a photo of it in my article. This is clear evidence that they are trying to cover up for yarl restaurant. After reading the articles in this blog, even a stupid child could tell you what a kitchen hood is and where yarl restaurant's noisy kitchen hood could be found. Why is it that these adults from DBKL can't even differentiate between a speaker and a kitchen hood and they don't know where it is even after reading the articles in this blog and seen a photo of yarl restaurant's kitchen hood. I have sent many complaint emails to them but so far they have done nothing except for their "magic show" i.e. turned the kitchen hood into the speaker. There is a saying "With money even the kitchen hood can turn into the speaker". Just how true is it? Well, it is for the Kuala Lumpur City Hall to answer this question. Since Malaysia is known as one of the most corrupt nations, anything can happen here.  Is turning on some kind of loud and deafening motor sound between 5.20 a.m. - 7.00 a.m. when the entire neighbourhood is so quiet that you can even hear a pin drop noise pollution? Does yarl restaurant's boss have the right to disturb the entire neighbourhood with his air and noise pollution program? Well, let us see what the Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) has to say in their second email to me after I made another complaint?

According to this email, yarl restaurant's motor is inside the restaurant and the kitchen hood is facing downwards into the drain. Therefore the DBKL is of the opinion that there is no noise pollution even though yarl restaurant's loud and deafening kitchen hood noise can be heard on the 4th floor! Don't you think that this is the most stupid answer  that anyone could give? Does this mean that I can turn on my CD player loudly at the whole day to disturb my neighbours as long as the CD player is in my house? When the neighbours complain, can I tell them that there is no noise pollution because the CD player is in my house? So, my dear readers, it is alright for you to turn on your CD player, TV, and computer speakers loudly as early as 5.20 a.m. and even at midnight to disturb your neighbours because this is not noise pollution according to the Kuala Lumpur City Hall. Why is it so? Because the CD player, TV, and computer speaker are in your house! Don't you think that this is indeed one of the greatest jokes of the century? Please take note that no matter how loudly we turn on our CD player or television, it can never be as loud as yarl restaurant's thunderous kitchen hood noise!

It is obvious that Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) is telling lies for yarl restaurant for the second time. If you look carefully at the picture of yarl restaurant's kitchen hood above, there is no drain below the kitchen hood where the ground is cemented. Anything fishy here? There is also another saying: With money even the cemented ground can turn into the drain! Once again, it is for the DBKL to tell us how true this saying is! What the DBKL should do now is to find out why their officers are trying to cover up for yarl restaurant. It could be that each time I send an email to the DBKL, this email is forwarded the same person who has to tell lies for yarl restaurant due to something fishy and that is why no action can be taken by the DBKL. Who knows, one day, even the flies can turn into raisins and can be eaten!

What seems to be ridiculous here is when I made another report to DBKL, these DBKL officers only went to check on yarl restaurant on the day that the restaurant was closed. Did they do it on purpose? Here is the 3rd email from DBKL:

3.Tarikh siasatan pada 10/2/2012@ 9.45pagi dan didapati restoran bertutup
dan berkunci.
4.Mucung cerobong asap menghala kebawah kedalam longkang awam dan
motornya didalam premis.(tiada beroperasi).

According to this email, they went to check on yarl restaurant on 10 February 2014 but it was closed and locked. The kitchen hood was facing downwards and going into the drain and the motor was inside the premises. They were not in operation. Since yarl restaurant was closed that day, their verdict is: No noise pollution. Even a child could sense something fishy here? Why chose the day when yarl restaurant was closed to check on them? If the restaurant was closed on that day, why not try again another day? Is that the way our government departments function? This is a clear indication of how inefficient the Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) is. Yarl restaurant is operating 7 days a week and these DBKL fellows chose to check on them on the one day when it was closed and they never bother to go there again assuming that there is no noise pollution. These DBKL fellows are also telling lies again for the third time. The video above clearly shows that the kitchen hood does not end in the drain. Beneath the kitchen hood, you can see cemented ground and not 'drain'. If the kitchen hood really ends in the drain then the curry particles would go into the drain and the air pollution here wouldn't be so serious. (Each time we put our clothes out to dry, they are soaked in curry). Maybe these DBKL fellows should go to the first restaurant  which is in the same row as yarl restaurant and see for themselves what 'going into the drain' means. Even a stupid child who watches the video above knows that this is an obvious case of serious noise pollution! How come the DBKL officers cannot see that?

PLEASE TAKE NOTE THAT THE NOISE THAT YARL RESTAURANT IS GENERATING IS THE KIND OF LOUD AND THUNDEROUS MOTOR SOUND THAT CAN EVEN BE HEARD ON THE FOURTH FLOOR! WONDER WHY IT IS ALLOWED  IN MALAYSIA AND AT SUCH AN EARLY HOUR IN THE MORNING TOO? IS THIS WHAT WE MEAN BY "MALAYSIA BOLEH" - i.e. WE CAN DO ANYTHING IN MALAYSIA INCLUDING KILLING PEOPLE SLOWLY WITH NOISE AND THREATENING THEM WITH VIOLENCE SHOULD THEY COMPLAIN?

THE GREAT COVER UP: MALAYSIAN STYLE

This video is taken at 5.53 a.m. this morning when yarl restaurant turned on its loud and thunderous kitchen hood to wake the entire neighbourhood. If you click on this video, you can see how serious this noise pollution is especially at such an early hour in the morning. But according to the Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL), this loud and thunderous noise from the kitchen hood in the early hours of the mornings is not noise pollution and Malaysians can make a much noise as they want as long as the source of noise is inside their house. You can also view this video @ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PSvNgCE1JcU&feature=youtu.be

How do Malaysians do their cover ups? Well, the Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) is showing us a very good example of this.

Did the Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) and the Department of Environment (DOE) really give yarl restaurant the authority to turn on its loud and deafening kitchen hood at such an early hour in the morning? Is yarl restaurant allowed to make this kind of loud and deafening motor noise at 5.53 a.m. on a Sunday morning when many people are still sleeping? The question I am discussing here is whether turning on some kind of loud and deafening motor sound between 5.30 a.m. - 7.00 a.m. in the morning when the entire neighbourhood is so quiet that you can even hear a pin drop can be regarded as noise pollution. But first of all, let us see why the Kuala Lumpur City Hall is trying to cover up for yarl restaurant's air and noise pollution program.

Why is the Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) trying to cover up for yarl restaurant in such a fishy way? Why is it that the DBKL cannot take action against yarl restaurant? Is something fishy going on? Here, I would like to share with you one of the greatest jokes of the century entitled "THE GREAT COVER UP: MALAYSIAN STYLE".

THE GREATEST COVER UP OF THE CENTURY

This video is taken at 6.10 a.m. on Sunday, 13 April 2014 (Malaysia Time). After a hard week's work, everyone would love to get up a little bit later than usual on a Sunday morning. But for yarl restaurant's noise pollution victims, they have no choice but to leave their bedrooms whenever yarl restaurant turns on its loud and thunderous kitchen hood. With the loud and thunderous noise coming from the kitchen hood which is just outside our bedrooms, it is not possible for us to sleep anymore. Even if we press two big pillows onto our ears, this loud and thunderous noise can still be heard clearly and loudly. Why is the Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) covering up for yarl restaurant in such a fishy way?

This video was taken at 5.55 a.m. this morning when yarl restaurant's selfish and irresponsible boss turned on his loud and thunderous kitchen hood to chase everyone out of their bedrooms. In the above video, it is obvious that yarl restaurant's kitchen hood is above cemented ground. Why must the Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) lied and said that it goes into the drain? Anything fishy going on?

This morning at 5.55 a.m., yarl restaurant's responsible boss once again turned on his loud and deafening kitchen hood to disturb the peace and serenity of the entire neighbourhood. Have you ever imagined how quiet and peaceful it is at 5.55 a.m. in the morning? Did the Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) and the Department of Environment (DOE) really give yarl restaurant the authority to turn on its loud and deafening kitchen hood at such an early hour in the morning? Is yarl restaurant allowed to make this kind of loud and deafening motor noise at 5.55 a.m. when many people are still sleeping?

Ceropong asap terletak dibahagian belakang bangunan dan muncungnya
menghala kebawah kedalam longkang awam manakala motornya terdapat didalam premis.

These DBKL fellows are also telling lies again for the second time.
