RESTAURANT PREPARING FOODS NEAR GARBAGE DUMPS

At 5.55 a.m. this Sunday morning, yarl restaurant is already making loud and thunderous noise with its kitchen hood. Since  I have been waken up from my deep sleep by this loud and thunderous kitchen hood noise and cannot sleep again even though I am still feeling very sleepy and tired after I had a late outing with my family last night, I might as well come to my computer and write another article about yarl restaurant. In actual fact, yarl restaurant's air and noise pollution program is a chronic problem which cannot be solved by the Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL). Why is it so? According to the DBKL, it is not their problem as they are only dealing with licensing. They asked me to call the Department of Environment (DOE) but the DOE said that this is not their jurisdiction. They kicked the case back to the DBKL. No matter which department, the complaints are sent to, they will finally get into the hands of Thilagenthiran a/l Somasundram who is in charge of the Damansara area including Brickfields and he will never take any action. What will Thilagenthiran a/l Somasundram do with the complaints? He will give stupid excuses and do nothing. Please read THE GREAT COVER UP: MALAYSIAN STYLE to read find out who Thilagenthiran a/l Somasundram is and what stupid excuses he made to cover up for yarl restaurant. Do these stupid excuses imply some fishiness on his part? Bribery or perhaps he has an interest in the restaurant? It seems that we are still living in the cowboy era as lawlessness still prevails today i.e. when our rights are infringed, there isn't any laws to protect us and we have to take the matter into our own hands. It is like being robbed but the police doesn't want to do anything thus leaving it to us to deal with the robber in our own way. Is this what is meant by "Malaysia Boleh"?

The only thing I can do now is to beg for sympathy from the public through my writings. It seems that yarl restaurant's air and noise pollution problem can only be solved by the members of the public i.e. if yarl restaurant has nothing to cook, then its victims would not have to suffer anymore. We can only hope that the members of the public would get to read my articles and sympathize with us and boycott yarl restaurant's air and noise pollution program. We, as yarl restaurant's air and noise pollution victims, have suffered intensely for 17 months and we can  only hope that our fellow Malaysians would do us some justice. My dear readers, it is always cheaper and more hygienic to cook your own food. Why pay so much for foods prepared near rubbish dumps? Why take your dinner at midnight? Do you know that it is extremely unhealthy to eat prior to bedtime? The best time to eat is at 7 p.m. because your body can still have a few hours to digest the food before you sleep. When you are sleeping, your body should be repairing itself and not busy digesting food.

Life is not easy for me too. I have to be waken up by yarl restaurant early every morning but despite my state of sleepiness and tiredness, I have to think of something to write about yarl restaurant. Do you think I enjoy writing about yarl restaurant's air and noise pollution program? Every article that I write is filled with pain but this is the only way to call for help because we, as victims of yarl restaurant's noise pollution program, are suffering intensely day and night because of the noise. And of course each time we put out our clothes to dry, they are soaked in curry that comes from yarl restaurant's kitchen because of its defective kitchen hood. The grief and pain of having to be waken up early every morning and to endure sleepiness and tiredness every day of our lives since January 2013 when yarl restaurant started operation is what gives me the enthusiasm to go on writing and fighting for our rights. Thank God, I am never out of ideas when it comes to writing about yarl restaurant's air and noise pollution program. Today, I would like to share with my readers some interesting photos of the garbage dumps near yarl restaurant's open air kitchen. These garbage dump photos were taken on 16 May 2014 and they clearly show what you can see on the right of yarl restaurant. Can you see the big arrows in the first 3 photos? It is pointing at yarl restaurant's noisy kitchen hood. This is where yarl restaurant's open air kitchen is.

Below are photos of yarl restaurant's open air kitchen where foods are prepared. Look at these pictures carefully. A picture speaks a thousand words. Would  you like to eat foods prepared this way? Is this our ideal Malaysian kitchen? Would you mind paying so much for foods prepared near the garbage dumps? Restaurant foods are not cheap nowadays. Perhaps Malaysians don't mind eating dirty foods.

This article is edited to add the above photo taken today at around 10 a.m. (I first posted this article at 6.11 a.m. this morning) In this photo you can see another big garbage bin (on the left of yarl restaurant's open air kitchen) with lots of rubbish surrounding it. In fact, there are many garbage dumps on this lane!
